Pretty Journal with a Few Limitations

I was initially drawn to this journal because of its beautiful cover design, it’s really eye-catching and aesthetically pleasing.

The journal does serve its purpose and works well enough for everyday use. However, I have experienced a few usability challenges. The pages can be a bit difficult to turn and don’t always stay open, so I often need to press them down while writing. I also feel that the spine is quite rigid, which prevents the journal from opening completely flat and makes it a little harder to use the full page comfortably.

In addition, I’ve noticed that the edges of the cover have started to fade with normal use. While it’s not severe at this stage, it does make me slightly concerned about how it will hold up over time with more frequent use.

Overall, it’s a lovely-looking journal and does the job, but I feel the durability and ease of use could be improved.

Fynbos Box! 🌼

I recently purchased the Fynbos Box from Papery, and I’m honestly so impressed with the quality and value.

My absolute favourite is the leather A6 notebook – it fits effortlessly into my pocket or handbag, making it perfect to take everywhere with me.

The leather pencil case has also become a must-have. It’s now the perfect home for my watercolour brushes, keeping the tips (bristles) protected and in great condition.

Overall, the box offers fantastic value for money and is very well priced for what you get. A beautiful and practical set that I’d definitely recommend!
