The story of the mauriati
This beautiful product was designed by Howard Deary, one of the owners of The Papery.
The Mauriati was named in honour of Howard and Alison's late dad, Maurice (fondly known as Mauriati).
He was a planner of note! He always had notebooks or notepads with him, and was known for his long to-do-lists. He was also an explorer at heart & his biggest wish was to travel the world. Sadly he passed before he was able to realize this dream.
Everything about the Mauriati, from its stunning quality, travel themed end papers, super practical layout, would have made our dad super proud - we know he would have LOVED it.

Really great stencils, nice and large letters and numbers. Love that it came with a ring so I can keep it together nice and neatly. Size of the letters and numbers are about between 4 and 5cm.

My husband loves this pencil case! His pen always got lost and now it does not go far from his journal. It does not have space for a lot. You might be able to fit in a small ruler and a few pens but for what he wants, this is perfect. It's really good quality.
I took the Fynbos box over to the UK as a gift for my son's girlfriend, she absolutely loved it. They had watched the Chelsea flower show on TV, especially the South African display of fynbos fire and new growth, so understood exactly where the inspiration for the box came from.
