What is HYGGE?

“A cosy quality that makes a person feel content and comfortable” Hygge, pronounced “hoo-guh”, is a Danish concept that means in essence creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the simple things in life with good people. The warm glow of candlelight is hygge. Cosying up with a loved one for a movie – that’s hygge, too. And there's nothing more hygge than being wrapped in a soft blanket in front of a crackling fire on your own.

Designed to be a reflective yet creative exercise, the Hygge box will ensure that you have everything you need to be cosy and comfortable while embarking on a creative journey.

FINDING JOY IN THE PRESENT MOMENT

Atmosphere: As you start your hygge journey, create a safe and comforting environment. Light some candles or dim the lights to give a warm and gentle glow.
Comfort: Choose seating that encourages relaxation for your peaceful space. You could lounge on the couch and wrap yourself with a warm and fuzzy blanket. Use the hand warmer to keep your fingers nice and toasty before you start your creative process.
Presence: Be here now and savor the moment. Put away all distractions and value the time that you have to enjoy ordinary experiences.
Nourishment: Enjoy good comfort food or a hot chocolate to bring warmth and delight.

In this box we have given you all the tools to fuel that creativity. Whether it be writing your story, writing poetry, your travel memoirs, creating a cute handmade recipe book or knitting or crochet pattern book, filled with some new and maybe some of grandma’s older recipes or patterns, or anything else that you could think of to collect and record beautiful memories in a warm and fuzzy creative way!

Just love the Hygge Box

I really love and enjoyed my hygge box. The box was wrapped so beautifully as well as the items inside. At first, I thought the box was too small but when I opened it, it was packed with wonders. The quality of the books, leather bookmarker, stickers, highlighters, pen and woodless pencil were breathtaking. The cherry on top was the cookie and sachet of hot chocolate, I didn't expect that...

I just love the way The Papery team take pride in their work. Local is Lekker! I can't wait to order my next box.

Letters to my new grandson❤️

Pretty, and I iove that the pages are perforated and can be taken out and sent/given as individual letters.
But only the first 13 pages (double sided) are lined for writing, the next 32 pages are unlined. I'd have preferred them all lined for letter writing, as it is titled.

Great product

I love the Faber Castell pen and refill. The pen is the most comfortable pen to write with. The ink distribution is good. No blotting or clotting.

My Favourite Journal

This is my favourite Journals, They are colourful, You can get them in A4 and A5.
I use a set in the same colour for my business. Each year a different one. Why be boring when you can have colourful elegant books.

Wax seal stamp heads

Work very well. I just need to know how much sealing wax to prepare. Fine stamps.
